I FINALLY GOT TO SEE WICKED! =]]]
I’ve been very busy lately so I haven’t had the time to blog about my experience watching Wicked but now I finally have some time to do so!
So we were a little late, maybe 5-10 minutes late because of miscommunication. It was quite funny actually, she asked me to pick her up near Red Robin when she really meant Red Ribbon hahah. Such a fob moment. But nonetheless, we only missed the first song so it wasn’t too bad. The whole musical was AMAZING. The cast performed well, the singing was phenomenal and the music was inspiring! I especially loved the “Defying Gravity” part. It was absolutely both stunning and amazing! Ahhh, I would so watch it again. I have to say, Glinda stole the show for me. She was utterly amazing and hilarious at the same time! I got home pretty late that night, probably around 1:30am so I knocked out right away. When I woke up, I listened to the Wicked soundtrack many times.
After the musical, we were really hungry. Hungry to the point that our stomachs growled lol. Luckily there was a spot that I knew of that was open late night so we went there for a late dinner. Food was grreeaaaat, can’t go wrong with Japanese food. I absolutely love asian food! Anyways, besides the delicious food, we had very interesting conversations. It’s been awhile since I’ve actually talked to someone that I had a lot in common with. Like the same motivations, goals for our lives, college ambitions and so much more. It’s good to know that there’s still people out there that I can easily talk to and relate to at a mature, greater intellectual state. I was quite shocked at the amount of things we had in common. She definitely knew how to keep an interesting conversation going.
After dinner, we continued our conversation in the car and shared our thoughts with each other about how GOOOOD Wicked was. It was already very late but dinner and Wicked easily allowed me to loose track of time. It was such an amazing experience!
